Introduction to MEC FC

Keeping active is essential not just for staying physically healthy but also for maintaining good mental and social health as well. This is even more important for developing children.

In order to get our youth active and develop positive habits and behaviour, MECAWT has established a football club named MEC FC. Our main aim is to provide the youth in our community an outlet to spend their time more constructively and to do so under the backdrop of Islam.

Aims and Objectives

  • To develop healthy habits and behaviour
  • To encourage teamwork and brotherhood
  • To establish an outlet for kids to spend their time in a productive, halal and healthy manner
  • To develop physical and technical abilities
  • To help each other grow and support each other
  • To have fun!

What MEC FC offers

  • A fully qualified FA approved football coach teaching discipline and technique
  • Football training in drills, dribbling, striking, defending and many other essentials
  • Sessions for children to compete with each other, in teams and individually
  • Full 11-player matches for a true football experience
  • A convenient location to access
  • A safe environment for children and teens to grow
